The results of the recent state and federal elections are certain to bring changes in the coming months. But some things are likely to remain the same. In this post, we hope to give you some encouragement if you plan to sell your North Carolina property by listing a few things that we don’t expect to change in the coming months.
Keep in mind that these are just our predictions (but we’re pretty confident in them).
1. There will still be buyers for your NC property.
As real estate investors, we will continue to keep buying and selling properties. That’s just the business we’re in.
Similar to how sophisticated stock traders don’t stop buying just because the market’s down, real estate investors will continue to invest in properties–no matter what happens with the economy.
In the past, when the interest rates jumped up, we didn’t stop buying, we just adjusted our strategy.
Our experience has shown that whether the market has been up or down, there’s always been a buyer for NC properties. So, you’ll still be able to sell your house or land when the new administration comes into office.
2. Interest rates will continue going down.
The Fed continues to trend down in their rates, which creates demand in the marketplace. We believe interest rates will continue going down when the new administration comes into office. This is good news for both buyers and sellers.
3. We will continue serving as a resource for you.
At DKL Housing Solutions, we’re keeping tabs on market trends, supply and demand in the marketplace, the migration of people to this area, and the economic climate.
If you plan to sell to us, know that we can walk you through the house-selling process while answering your NC real estate questions.
Plus, we’ll continue to post monthly to this blog with helpful North Carolina real estate resources for you.
Wrapping up
Only time will tell how NC’s real estate market will be impacted by the election results. But people continue to be attracted to this area, which helps if you plan to sell your NC property.
